How to Prepare for the LLB Entrance in 3 Months

The principle: study where the marks are

The TU LL.B. entrance gives 50 marks to jurisprudence, 30 to constitutional law and 20 to the four Muluki codes, with 100 MCQs in 1 hour 40 minutes (see the 2083 exam pattern). This plan gives each subject a share of the 12 weeks close to its share of the marks.

Every day

Weeks 1–6: Jurisprudence (50 marks)

Week Focus
1 Meaning, nature and sources of law; natural law
2 Legal positivism: Bentham, Austin, Kelsen, Hart
3 Historical, sociological and realist schools
4 Theories of justice: Aristotle, Rawls, Nozick; law and morality
5 Rights and duties, legal persons, possession, ownership, obligation
6 Revision with the Jurists and Theories libraries; first full mock

Mock-exam rules

If you have less time

With six weeks, halve each block but keep the order and the weekly mock. Dropping jurisprudence to save time costs the most marks.
